Ralph D. Horn served as chairman and chief executive officer of the former First Tennessee National Corporation (now First Horizon National Corporation) and First Tennessee Bank, National Association, its principal subsidiary, from 1996 until his retirement in December 2003. Horn served as chief executive officer of First Tennessee National Corporation from 1994 through 2002 and as president from 1991 through 2001. Horn is also a director of Mid-American Apartment Communities, Inc.
