Michael J. Bender is executive vice president, Cardinal Health, Inc.

Bender joined Cardinal Health in 2003 as senior vice president, field sales and operations before assuming his current responsibilities as executive vice-president, retail sales and marketing. Prior to Cardinal Health, Bender was vice-president of store operations for Victoria Secret Stores from 1999 to 2003.

Bender began his professional career at Pepsi-Cola North America where he held positions of responsibility in strategic planning and analysis, market development, and category management. A graduate from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts in economics, Bender earned a master's degree in management from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
