E.K. Gaylord, II is chairman of the board, Gaylord Sports Management.

E.K. Gaylord II served as Gaylord Entertainment's chairman from May 1999 through April 2001. He served as interim president and chief executive officer of the Company from late July until September 2000, and as vice-chairman of the board from May 1996 to May 1999. Gaylord is currently the chairman and owner of Gaylord Sports Management and a director of the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. He is the son of the late Edward L. Gaylord.
