
650 AM WSM’s first official broadcast day was October 5, 1925. The station is the radio home of the Grand Ole Opry, which has been broadcast live on WSM since its inception. Today, WSM continues its legacy with a classic country format, playing songs from the 40s to today’s biggest hits. WSM can be picked up in 38 states on 650 AM thanks to its 50,000 watt clear channel signal. The station is also heard worldwide on www.wsmonline.com.
